Last updated 11th May 2012 - 14:05

Hello, I’m Lesley. I live two miles from Land’s End with my husband Clive. We have two grown-up children, Lauren and Jack. We have lived here since 1987 and love it! From our house I can see the sea, Cape Cornwall, the Longships Lighthouse and, on a clear day, the Isles of Scilly. I am a freelance writer and a school governor, and I sing with Cornwall Community Choir and I hope to tell you more about what goes on here in the far southwest!

Carole Marland moved to Cornwall from Manchester 18 1/2 years ago and it was a good move!

Last updated 21st August 2010 - 09:21

Moving from Manchester to Cornwall 18 ½ years ago was a good move. We now live in St Buryan with two of our six children. Life is very different here, and as editor of our local community magazine it amazes me just how much does go on in our community, and I want to give an insight through the blog. My hobbies include computers, sewing and photography. Recycling and re-use is another passion of mine, the aim to keep as much reusable stuff out of landfill!

Rebecca Tidd - Life in Cornwall

Rebecca Tidd talks about holidays, surf, sand and sun, self catering accommodation and general life in the wonderful county of Cornwall.

Kevin Cooper talks artwork, inspirations and Cornwall's surfing scene

I will be blogging about art & photography projects around Cornwall, surf missions from coast to coast and the freelance graphics work I do on surfboards between Newquay, St Agnes and Wadebridge. I hope to share the amazing differences that can be experienced in a day – from the gun metal grey skies of an overcast early surf, to a colourful afternoon at work or a field with a camera!
